Day 7: Hilly

We left Pont Augen, which was our chosen destination the night before, again quite late in the day. We had decided we were only going to head down to Grand Champ, which wasn't far. When we got to Grand Champ the campsite was shut for the season. Not the first and I'm sure it's not the last time this will happen.

Before we left we popped into the local shop to see if they had any bread, and were confronted by a full on english coffee morning in process. The owner of the shop, Karen, was very nice, and gave us some good titbits of information for our way. We were both really in need of an internet cafe, as it had been several days since either of us had blogged, and it becomes difficult to remember everything. It seems france doesn't do internet cafes in the same way that the rest of the world does, for some reason, so apologies for the delay and then endless posts.

Anyway, I digress.. the ride was lovely, and probably the best weather of the trip so far. We passed the 200 mile mark today and spirits were generally quite high, until it took us forever to find a campsite. We ended up finding camping du haras, about 10 miles from Vannes.

Lucy question of the day: "do you think you can dry a tent with a torch?" Brilliant.

27.84 miles on the clock.
